Completely useless
Mushrooms are items that appear in many Mario shames. If Mario or Luigi eats a mushroom they get bigger for some reason but if they eat too much the plumbers gets really, really fat (as if he wasn't fat enough already) and can't walk very well because their legs are being crushed by their extreme weight. Mushrooms usually hide in ? Blocks because they don't want to be eaten by hungry guys like Mario. Despite this, everybody knows they hide in them. Sometimes strange after effects take place. Some involve Mario shrinking, and some involve him turning into a Godzilla-like creature. It also goes great with toast and 'lotsa Spaghetti. Oh, and it turns out Mushrooms are a substitute of the act of eating Toads. Mushrooms are very deadly like the Poison Mushroom it makes you get poisoned and kills you, and when you eat The Redrum Mushroom you automatically die!!!!
